A WINTERS' TALE
When autumn became a winters day
The Prince of the North,
Sent out snow flakes to play
They covered autumns' leaves,
in a mantle of white
The frost, the snow
The striking beauty so
Softly falling around
Castle Heartstone, snow bound
Inside, warm and dry
Tiny glowing lights
The Faeries fly.............
Keeping the lanterns bright
With a flurry of snow
The Prince of the North came to stay
The love concealed
The shyness, revealed
The Princess of Magic did know............
The beating heart of the Prince
What it wanted to say
With a shy smile the Prince strode.......
To the Great Hall
For, the Heartstone can reveal all
Radiant fire
The love, flowed
Within the hall,
he could draw strength
Sit at length.............
and wonder at it all
He talked to the Tapestries in turn...........
For he had much to say
Much to learn...............
The Wise Way...........
Winter had come to stay
How still the air............
The gentle fall of snow
Wintry glow..............
The Heartstone, he came to know
In his hand, the ring
Glowing in the night
The colour of the Northern Light
For, the Princess gave a gift long ago..........
In the land of snow
The gift to be returned...........
In the form of a ring........
What he had learned,
in the Great Hall
His heart to give all
Everything
The time had come........
For winter was done
The words ,said
The feelings read
The gift, sown
The Northern Light
The love, so bright
In the Hall
In Castle Heartstone
For the ring .........
Reflecting light...........
Glowed bright,
upon the Princess' face
A wedding feast to plan
A wedding dress.........
Full of lace................
