After Death Dream

 By Jackson David

I knew I had died.
Everything was there,
the tunnel,
the light,
the voice,
the conveyor.
Then
I saw
the gate,
the screen,
the prompt.
"Please enter your account number."
I entered my social.
"Welcome valued soul"
"Please enter your password"
I gave it all the passwords I'd ever used.
After five tries
the gate locked,
the conveyor turned
into an escalator going
down.
"Welcome to Hell"
"Please enter your PIN"
I couldn't get
in.
